A/N: Frank crush is back. *sighs* The muses like Frank I guess? I have no explanation for it. *shrugs* Comments would be great, I always appreciate them =-)

It wouldn’t have taken a genius to figure out that he wanted, no check that, he needed to be left alone. It was exactly the reason why he had abruptly left his house with all his friends and most of his family inside. He had felt crowded, like the walls were closing in on him. He couldn’t breathe.

John used to say that when he needed some time, he would take a run.

Well, running wasn’t exactly Lamps style. It was exactly why he was taking a walk in Hyde Park. It was dark and the pavement was still wet from the earlier shower in the day, but it was in his mind perfect for time to think.

Frank found a bench and sat staring out over the grass and the Serpentine Lake was off to his side. He had his hands buried in his jacket pockets as he took a deep breath of cool air.

He was there some time before he noticed a person loitering on the pathway. Frank looked over and when the person noticed he was looking in their direction, they started forward.

“Sorry.” The woman, a friend of John’s named Eliza, apologized as soon as she came closer. “They sent me after you. Why they couldn’t come themselves, I’m afraid I don’t know.”

“That’s alright.” Frank said and she sat next to him.

“I figured I’d give you a few minutes. It looked like you could use them.” She sounded so sincere that Frank was touched.

“Thanks.”

“You’re welcome.” She smiled at him and his heart tripped. “Are you going to be all right?”

“Yeah.” He shrugged his shoulders as he said it. “Give me a band-aid and I’ll be just fine.”

He tried to joke. He tried to remove the somber air but it didn’t work. Eliza saw right through it.

“But you can’t band-aid your heart, can you?”

Frank didn’t know what happened. One minute they were several inches apart and the next he was whispering ‘no’ against her lips before kissing her. When they parted, Eliza’s hands were on his shoulders and her eyes were wide.

“Sorry.” Frank apologized and then looked down ashamed.

“Don’t be sorry, it was rather nice.” Eliza stammered. Frank looked up shyly.

“In fact,” she continued, “I wouldn’t mind if you did it again.”

Frank smiled and did as she asked. For a while he could maybe forget. That was, after all, what he’d come for, was it not?
