Title: The Only Thing That’s Right
Characters: Lukas Podolski/Bastian Schweinsteiger
Rating: PG-13
Words: 316
A/N: for the lovely
shangrilove who encourages my love of things I shouldn’t love…i.e. Mats Hummels but I still like her anyway ;)
He really shouldn’t have done it, kissing Lukas after the match like that. The papers would talk, Sarah would question him with an inquisitively raised eyebrow, and the rumors were already likely stirring on the internet again. Oh well. He just won the bloody world cup for fuck’s sakes. So what if he kissed Lukas on camera? Twice.
He’s kissed lots of people in his lifetime. Lukas just happened to be the one he kissed a lot. And enjoyed the most. And wanted to kiss again. Speaking of which…
Bastian shifted on the bed and pulled a still-asleep Lukas closer to him to his him across the mouth. It took a moment but, like all the other times, Lukas’ mouth shifted against his and he started to kiss him back, albeit sleepily. Bastian smiled to himself after pulling back from the kiss and smiled more when he saw the sleepy look on his lover’s face.
“Morning, Basti.” Lukas mumbled before snuggling closer to him for warmth. Somehow he caught sight of the clock on the bedside table from over Bastian’s shoulder. He groaned. “It’s five twenty in the morning. We don’t have to be up for hours.” He was whining. Bastian grinned.
“I just wanted to kiss you again.”
Bastian felt Lukas smile against his neck and held his boyfriend closer before he spoke softly. “Go back to sleep.”
“As you wish, Poldi.” Bastian replied, more than contentedly.
He felt Lukas fall asleep again; Bastian’s fingers slowly moved along the other player’s spine in a lazy, calming gesture. He could stay here forever in this moment. World champions at last, in bed with his lover, listening to the sound of the ocean outside. It was perfect.
Fuck the cameras. He was going to kiss Lukas all god damn day once the man was awake. Bastian grinned and closed his eyes to go back to sleep.
Title: The Only One I’ll See
Characters: Manuel Neuer/Thomas Muller/Bastian Schweinsteiger

Words: 320
A/N: for the exceptional
still_glorious who I offered and she accepted :3
A mass of sweaty limbs is all that they had been reduced to. Their muscles hadn’t let them forget that, despite winning the world cup, they had still played a full match and extra time to boot. It was no wonder then that Thomas was laying on his back between the other two, snoring as if he was trying for that championship as well. Bastian had an arm around Thomas’ waist and his face was buried in Thomas’ hair.
Manu watched them both thanks to the graciously full moon’s light that was pouring into their suite. The sun would rise in a few hours and he supposed he should get some sleep but he just enjoyed moments like this. Victorious, deliriously happy, and sated moments like this happened only every so often in a footballer’s life. The fact that the two men that he loved the most in the world were in his bed with him made him all the more happier. He couldn’t sleep for the overdose of happiness he was currently going through.
Thomas shifted in the bed, snores stopping for a moment, and his hand sliding around Manuel’s hip and squeezing his butt ever so sneakily. Manuel noticed the flicker in his eyelids and the curve of his mouth as he started to smirk. The fucker wasn’t asleep after all.
Mumbling, he spoke. “Go to sleep or fuck me again. Your pick.”
Manuel shook his head. He was spent, unfortunately. He leaned closer and kissed Thomas’ lips softly.
“In the morning, before we leave.” He promised wholeheartedly.
“Okay. Then sleep.” Thomas muttered and squeezed Manuel’s butt again, leaving his hand in place.
Manu shook his head but shifted so that his arms circled around both of his midfielders. He settled his head on top of Bastian’s whose was still resting on Thomas’. Content, Manuel closed his eyes and smiled.
Title: Winning Isn’t Everything
Characters: Joachim Löw/Jurgen Klinsmann
Rating: PG
Words: 358
A/N: for
miss_black91 because I could. And she loves Jogi. A lot. And I love Klinsi. :3
It was a simple smile but it was enough. Jogi could hear it on the phone even all the way in Brazil and it made him immensely proud and happy. As if winning the world cup wasn’t enough. He figured Jurgen was in California or some where warm, not as warm as Brazil, but close enough. He wished he was here.
“Are you still there? Or have you fallen asleep on me already?” He could hear the teasing in his question.
“You’re not much younger than me,” Jogi reminded quietly, “just remember that for when you want to make old man jokes.”
“But I’m still younger.” He heard the grin now, for it was undeniably a grin.
“Don’t tell me we’re turning into Lukas and Bastian.”
“Please, they are turning into us.”
“Then God help Germany win they become the managers.”
They both paused as they contemplated that. It lasted only a moment before Joachim started to laugh, mirrored by Jurgen on the phone.
Joachim’s laughter stopped only after Jurgen spoke into the phone again, smile still in his voice.
“I love you, Jogi. Congratulations. You have deserved it for years.”
Joachim swallowed hard and gripped the phone a little tighter in his hand. He wished Jurgen could be here now, celebrating with them. It wasn’t quite perfect without him here.
“You deserved it too.”
“No, Jogi. This is yours.” Jurgen said, smile gone and seriousness in place. “I have had my world cup. Perhaps one day I will get another one. But this one, this one is all for you and your team.”
Joachim stayed quiet for a few minutes too long before Jurgen spoke again, asking if he was still there to which Joachim had to swallow the large lump in his throat.
“Thank you, Jurgen.”
“You’re welcome. Now get some rest, you will need your energy for all the celebrations in Berlin.” Jurgen was smiling again.
“You’ll be watching?” Joachim asked, already guessing the answer but wanting to hear it anyway.
“Of course. I wouldn’t miss seeing you on camera for the world.”
Joachim smiled.
