A/N: Just something I threw together after watching Twilight tonight. Just a fluff piece for the shippers of Jacob & Renesmee. :-) Comments are <3
He saw from the way she had flipped her hair and sat with a humph on her desk chair that she was unhappy. It hurt him physically to see her in such a state of anguish. A growl erupted from his throat and he knew that if he could find the boys that dared tease his Nessie that their throats wouldn’t be the only thing missing.
She seemed to sense his presence and looked up. The fourteen-year old girl’s sad eyes brightened quickly at seeing him, even in his current form. She walked out the door of her room and approached him as he sat on his haunches at the edge of the never-ending forest.
He thumped his tail on the earthen floor as she reached out to pet him carefully. She let only two fingers rub at his nose before she began to pet his head. His tongue lolled out of his mouth as he made a happy sound—tail going crazy on the ground.
Renesmee fell to her knees beside him and hugged him tightly. Her fingers were buried in his thick fur as she petted and mumbled to him. Jacob knew that if he were human right now, his arm would be around her and he would be hugging her tightly.
“I love you Jacob.” Nessie said after a while of just hugging him. Jacob howled and Nessie giggled. Jacob was feeling rather pleased with himself. He rolled onto his back and waved a paw in the air. Renesmee batted at it shyly and so one of their games began.
Jacob was just happy that he had made his girl smile.
Later that night as he lay on her bed, she was curled around him and held tightly too him. He had never liked being a teddy bear more than he did now.
