Prompt: 096. Writer’s Choice: Lost
A/N: Based sorta on the song Lost by Michael Bublé
Iker and Cesc were enjoying a moment of snuggle time in their hotel room. Cesc was sitting really close to Iker with his face in Iker’s neck. The Captain was enjoying the younger man’s breath on his neck while his fingers were stroking Cesc’s inner thigh. Cesc’s breathing started to grow irregular and Iker looked into Cesc’s eyes and saw that they were glazed over with lust.
“God you’re so hot.” Iker thought aloud and Cesc smiled.
“So are you.” Cesc pressed a kiss to Iker’s neck and Iker rewarded the Catalan by moving closer to the growing bulge in Cesc’s shorts.
Iker was seriously considering pushing Cesc on his back and taking him right here on the couch when shouting started next door. Cesc groaned unhappily and Iker could understand. Villa and Silva were fighting a lot these days.
“Wonder what they are so upset about now.” Cesc groaned while opening his eyes and he sat up.
“I don’t know but I wish they could have waited ten more minutes.” Iker mumbled and dropped his hands into his lap.
“Ten minutes? We were doing great in just five…” Cesc stared at him with a smartass grin on his face. Iker felt a blush coming on.
He was about to reply when Silva shouted something that made Iker and Cesc both grow very concerned.
“Fine, I guess we’re over then!” The door slammed next door and then the sound of someone punching the wall and cursing happened in rapid succession.
Iker looked at Cesc with a mirrored expression of shock.
“They didn’t…did they?” Cesc asked, his world rocked. This was Villa and Silva…they were like salt and pepper, peanut butter and jelly, night and day, they just went together.
“It certainly sounded like it…” Iker was shocked as well but for a slightly different reason. If Villa and Silva could break up, then who couldn’t? Iker knew it was irrational, but he looked at Cesc with searching eyes.
“Iker…” Cesc sounded worried. “Iker, what happened? How did we miss it?”
Iker shook his head. “I don’t know, I didn’t think it was that bad.”
Cesc came closer again, just needing to feel his lover. Iker pulled him close on instinct, he’d long since noticed that he did those things on habit.
“I can’t believe we didn’t see it…” Cesc whispered. The truth was, he was scared. If nobody had noticed that Villa and Silva were shifting apart to that extent, then how would he know if (he refused to say when) he and Iker had those same problems?
Iker felt Cesc grow distant and it didn’t take a scientist to figure out what he was thinking. After all, he was too. “Cesc, we won’t do that.”
Cesc looked at him with such a hopeful and pleading expression that Iker felt his heart twist. Iker shifted to caress Cesc’s face with his fingers. “We will talk it out. We won’t fight like that.”
“You promise?”
Iker nodded. “I promise.”
Cesc smiled then and moved into Iker’s lap. “Good.”
Iker smiled and kissed Cesc with renewed passion. He wasn’t lost in confusion anymore. From the way Cesc was kissing and rubbing against him, he wasn’t either. Cesc gasped and pulled away staring wide-eyed at Iker.
“What?” Iker asked worried again.
“So does this mean I get to tell you when you’re being an ass and you get to tell me to lay off the video games?”
Iker shook his head. “Yes, Cesc.”
“Oh, well that’s good then.” The Cesc moved forward and kissed him harder. “How about we finish what we started earlier?”
Iker didn’t even think about it, he just held Cesc close to his body as he rose and headed to their bedroom.
